Hi everyone. Had to have another go at this cluster. Addictive but still disappointed with the cute 's' shaped galaxy.

We had a visit from a 305mm f4 but I couldn't get my camera on it in the curiosity rush. Sadly on it's way back to Madrid as I type. The guy reckoned he could do similar to my effort -with a bashed around 10"- in under an hour. I wonder...

I'm not sure what to say. This is a delightful but small target and takes both patience and care. For better or worse our efforts with a 5.5 telescope gave this: https://www.astrobin.com/full/393219/0/

8 hours in luminance and 8x10 per colour, so 12 hours. But AP takes time. Sport takes training. Education takes reading. What's the problem? No instant gratification in AP...
