Mercury montage

Here are a couple of montages of Mercury, setting into the glorious colours of the sunset, over the famous airship sheds at Cardington in Bedfordshire (formerly RAF Cardington - where the R101 was built).

Taken on 24th and 25th Feb, and are composed of 66 and 80 images respectively.

Thanks. Yes, I was trying to think of a way of making the image more interesting than just a bright dot in the sky (I have loads of them too!). Silhouetting the Cardington sheds was a bonus to add some foreground interest, but took a few nights to find a spot that was aligned how I wanted it - ended up down a dusty farm track in the middle of nowhere.

Familiar sight, the airship hangars that is, I used to live just down the road from them at Willington.  ?
