M81-M82, FSQ 106/ASI 183, Galaxies at 530mm??

M81-M82 FSQ106/ASI183/Mesu 200, 80x5minL, 20x5minRGB/channel.

Something was wrong during capture of one or more channels, focus, seeing? It can be seen on the stars,

but I'm amazed at how well this setup works, can't wait to try the ASI 183 on my RC 8 inch ...

There is some excellent detail in there but the process is a bit 'neon' for me and I'd be tempted to dial it back a bit which would also tame the stars.  Still each to their own!

You clearly have excellent data.

I think it's an alignment issue between the red and green channels.

Unfortunately not, that would be an easy fix, I tried in APP and PI, same result.

Try Registar or even try it by hand?

Just seen this. Given the focal length the resolution is incredible and the seeing hasn't tended to be good here recently.
