Finally saw the Aurora....

I've done it, I've finally done it. I've saw and imaged the Aurora Borealis. 

It wasn't the greatest show due to cloud and the moon but its my first time and I must say that it was incredible.

Looking back I'd have changed where I set up but I wouldn't have it any other way. The experience was beyond words.

Thanks. It was taken at a dark site in Iceland. I've got a lot more images that I need to sieve through.

Equipment used was a Canon 6d with a Samyang 14mm lens used wide open. ISO 1600 and 10 second subs. 

I saw a couple of meteors too but luck would have it that both happened in between exposures.

I don't think Swindon will ever see it, unless theres a  CME  big enough to wipe out our electrical transformers
