M33 in close up

This is 3.3 hrs of data taken with an Esprit 150 and G2-8300, Mesu 200 mount, 10 x 300 s each of LRGB. This target fits nicely in the FOV of this set up, no mosaics required unlike it's neighbour in Andromeda.

The calibration and processing was a collaborative effort with Tomatobro, using APP, Startools, GIMP and Windows Photoeditor, all discussed between us using Teamviewer. Lots of versions produced, I have currently settled on this one. I continue to marvel at the number of distant galaxies captured on images like this.

If you haven't heard of it already, RawTherapee could be a good addition to your workflow (for colour balance, contrast and curves etc).

This is with another 40 mins added, giving 4 hours in total. Less noisy background, I think. Much though I like producing an image from a single session, I am realising the benefits of longer integration times...
