Earthshine and crescent

Ok - you've had the Earthshine pics and you've had the crescent pics. Fitting them together just doesn't work because the overexposed crescent terminator doesn't match the correctly exposed crescent terminator. However, taking the Earthshine picture from the day before means that there's a bit of overlap to play with and hey presto...

That is one superb capture, (2 maybe). Yes Pete because of the extreme differences in exposure, this is probably the best way to get the result. Unfortunately no imaging device is capable of capturing in one hit what the eye sees. It's bad enough at noon on a bright day, the extreme between shadow and the highlights is a nightmare, even in RAW.
