Ally8446
Just a quick'un. Will any old rocket blower do the trick on a slightly dusty mirror or is there the Mother of all blowers out there that folks recommend ? Al
Carbon Brush
If the mirror is slightly dusty, ignore it. Mirrors have to be very dirty to affect image quality. Any cleaning carries risk.
Sunshine
What the mother of all blowers blows off, it can also blow on, double edged sword, any particles in the blower will essentially be striking your mirror like a sand blaster, ouch!!!. I second Carbon Brush, mirrors need to be pretty darn crud covered to affect performance.
Ricochet
Look for one with a silicone tip. If you're blowing particles off a mirror or lens you don't want one with a solid tip that could scratch the surface. Generally, for mirrors you're unlikely to need one though. If it gets dirty enough that you need to be removing a mirror to clean it then it will warrant washing.
