Well that's good news on Hubble Trevor. I wonder if the repair mission will be re scheduled again. Last I heard, was a delay until May 2009 in view of the computer glitches. They have to make a complete assessment I suppose, before sending a Shuttle up. Can't afford to go unprepared for everything. Understandably of course.

I think it is more to do with the amount of sunlight the Solar Cells are being deprived of Ian. Being at such a high Northern latitude, there is not as much sunlight for the heaters. I know the Rovers suffered badly but survived, but they were able to park them on a favourable position to receive maximum sunlight during the winter months.
