M45 - again

Was trying for the Bubble but could not get it, was pointing in the wrong position, saw M45 and decided to have a go, this one is definitely my best one to date on M45 even though there is some trailing of the stars.

15 x 150 sec unguided @ ISO800 with ED80 and 400D on EQ5. Stacked in DSS and the usual tweaking in Photoshop.

There's some nice nebulosity and colours showing there, Brendan. I wish I had that field of view.... (just imaging the same target )

Not a bad image at all Brendan even if theres slight trailing with the stars, plenty of nebulosity picked up

That's a lovely M45 Brendan. The stars don't look bad at all. There's a neat PS trick for rounding trailing stars

Thanks folks for the nice comments.

Will have a look through the subs tonight and discard the bad ones, just quickly stacked them all last night to see what was there, hopefully can get rid of the trailing with some careful selection.
