My iOptron SkyGuider Pro wobbles...

Hello everyone!

I was testing some new accessories for my iOptron SkyGuider Pro, when I noticed that the RA axis wobbles quite a lot. I haven't experienced this before, even though I had the mount for just a few months... The RA clutch is tight, so I don't see why it can't stay in position.

I made a video that demonstrates the problem, at 300mm on an APS-C camera. I just slightly touched the camera, as I would if I were focusing for instance. Everything was tightened.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Any fix accessible to my screwdriver, or should I send the mount back?

I havnt used the mount but it looks like the wormgear is not tight enough meshed that's what the movement is, there should be a hex or screw adjustment to take up the slack out of it, have a look at the instruction papers if you have them. charl.

If it's new phone the people who you bought it from and ask their advice..failing that Altair astro might be worth a call ,they might even do repairs
