Moon and Mars

The best clear sky for some time,skywatcher 127,with Nikon attached,quite pleased with photo,would I get much better photo's

using different setup,eye pieces etc ? .  setting's were 1/100, Iso 160. How do I get a larger Mars ? setting's were 1/80 sec, ISO 160.

The easiest way would be to invest in a decent barlow lens.

great moon mate, with the moon it helps to stack a number of images, I go for at least 50 but 100 or more is better, your a tad out of focus but a good image all the same, a barlow would be good for mars, mars is tricky at the best of times. clear skys. charl.

Thanks for your comment's,I have the 2x 1.25 Barlow which came with the SkyWatcher 127,very confusing looking at all the different lenses

can you recommend a suitable one ? Thanks..

http://www.astroboot.co.uk have a Revalation Astro 5x Barlow @£20.80 + P&P on offer at present. It may work for planetary photos... (a lot cheaper than a TeleVue 5x PowerMate). Revalation Astro Barlows have been known to be above average from some reviews I have read.
