Weather has been bad for what seems like weeks,probably because it has been weeks so haven't got out much lately.

Was browsing around some of the piccies i had taken a thought this might be worthy of a post.

Great image S5, I particularly like the wee diffraction spikes. As Ron said "A really uplifting sight is Albireo". I know he didn't mean me though

Never sure if diff spikes are an improvement or not,i do like them

but i try not to overdo them.

Now that i use my Orion Europa 150 for imaging it will be interesrting to see how closeups of stars look with just 2 diff spikes,this scope has 2 vanes 6mm across,girders would be a better term for them.
