First bit of bicolour NB imaging.

Here is a meagre amount of NB data on the Western Veil Nebula, just 30 mins Ha and 40 mins OIII, taken with a HEQ5 Mount, Altair 102mm APO and a G2-8300 camera.

Calibrated and stacked in APP, processed in Startools and PS.

Its a challenge with so little data to pull out detail and keep the background reasonable, looking forward to capturing more subs. Thanks for looking.DAE59EC4-2E6E-4C66-A73B-1E5D0D3D9FEB.thumb.jpeg.1def91c6b22efe1a60cb831c6f30119e.jpeg

That's nice, very subtle.

Thanks Steve.

I do have some reasonable Ha data for this object taken with the Esprit 150, I am going to have a go at combining these different scale subs in APP, if successful I’ll try and grab some more OIII data with this scope before the Veil moves out of view for this season.
