A quick ISS from Portland harbour

Recommended Posts

The only other "astro" offering from the week in Weymouth, was this taken the same not as the Mars image. Not been able to do much with the stacked images, it looks better as a GIF/Video.

The ISS flew past Jupiter, Saturn and finally faded just before Mars. A superb sight over the harbour as well.

Nice holiday snaps Pete, beats pictures of the kids eating icecream

My wife was delighted to be spending the 2nd night dodging the insects, while I waxed lyrical about Venus, Jupiter Saturn, Mars, The ISS, she is clearly "living the dream"

Nice viewpoint and holiday snaps.  Out of interest was that taken from near Sandsfoot castle, or a bit further west than that?

Being nosey as I used to live in Weymouth.

I was sitting on the path near the Nothe fort, on the edge of the gardens.

Lovely location, the Nothe Gardens are one of my favourite places in Weymouth.

Thanks for the heads up, I must pay a visit sometime soon.
