Neximage Exposure Time

I have a Celestron Neximage Burst Color which comes with ICap software to control via laptop. The maximum expsoure time is 30 sec but is there a way to manually increase it? I have access to an observatory and I was wondering if I could take some basic deep sky using their telescopes.  Please let me know if there is a way.

I doubt it.... even if there would be, the resulting image would be more noise than DSO.

30 seconds is plenty if you take lots and then stack them.

Personally I would do some tests first because you may find 30 seconds is very noisy and can't be worked with.

As @happy-kat says, just take lots of subs and stack them.

This is a live stack of 77 16 second exposures done with an f8 scope, without any processing except live dark subtraction. You can do live stacking in Sharpcap:

Thank you! I think I may have underestimated the potential of sub 30sec exposures. I have done testing in the past and 30 sec didn't yield excessive noise.
