Sharpcap collimation

Hi, 

Has anyone tried sharpcap's collimation tool? I'm trying to fine tune my 130pds collimation with it but can't get my head around it.  It would be nice to have a guide to teach how to do it. 

Also is a distant radio tower light a viable source to point the scope or does it have to be a star?

I havent used the Sharpcap collimation tool, but as far as using a point of light is concerned... I understand that you can use a distant point of light for collimation as long as its more than 50 meters away.

Thank you for the reply,  it is much more distant.  Nice to know that it works, it may make things easier.
