Bromsgrove Astronomical Society Launch Meeting Details

Hi,

here are the details for the launch meeting of the Bromsgrove Astronomical Society. It will be at Finstall Park, which is the Bromsgrove Rugby Club, feel free to come for the whole evening or just as much as you can make.

Agenda for 20th

7.00pm Open

7.30pm Introduction

7.50pm Refreshments

8.15pm Observing or Presentation (weather dependent)

9.00pm Presentation

9.30pm Observing or Presentation (weather dependent)

10.00pm Close

There will be plenty of time to chat and an opportunity to join on the day. We should have some displays set up along with telescopes.

Look out for the articles in the local free papers this coming week along with a picture in the Standard.

Last night saw our launch take place and thanks to some good coverage (front page photo) in the local paper we had over 70 people come and listen to a couple of talks and chat over the course of the evening. We gave out 50 membership forms and had some people join on the night.

So we are well and truly underway. Next meetings details will be posted in the "Local Meetings" section.
