Asteroid 2010 WC9 close approach

As title, close approach  14/15 May. Possibly as bright as mag 11ish.

Looks interesting. I think I'll download it's details to CdC and see if I can get some video of it. Skies permitting of course!

Interesting object, will definitely be trying to catch an image weather permitting, it shouldn't be too hard to find as it's reasonably high and not in a cluttered star field, moving quite slowly though so may be hard to detect movement.

True, it's moving quite slowly now, but at closest approach it'll be travelling at 12 degrees per hour and out of view in the southern hemisphere!

Yes, looks like it gets a spurt on and heads rapidly south in the early hours tomorrow.

Just been having a look for it but can't make my mind up until it moves a bit, it should be heading visibly south I think.
