Forgot to mention that my ED120 does have an Equinox focuser (although he standard effort works fine as long as you don’t try and hang big SLR’s off it!)

On reflection, the ED100 might be better for planetary work. F9 vs F7.5 (both 900mm fl).

The Tal 125 Apolar does come with a 12 month warranty, so if anything was wrong with the optics, one could get it sorted or refunded. Its been rejected by Tal importer because of marks on the ota tube. So the optics should be fine. Although I'd think twice to having 6 lenses because of cool down time, and the fact these are not meant to work all that good with aftermarket 2" diagonals.
