EQ6 extension for CGEM?

Hello there, does anyone know for certain whether the eq6 extension tube fits the CGEM mount / tripod?

Been searching on here for answers and in a thread about "eq5 collars" somebody posted photos of the bottom of the eq6 mount and the top of the eq6 tripod

and they look the same as the CGEM's. (Sorry don;t know how to link to it)

In another thread someone posted this drawing of an eq6 mount and tripod with measurements and again it tallies with the CG

I've put the question to FLO but they said they didn't know ; said I could buy one, try it and return it if it didn't work .

However, obviously it would be a lot simpler if somebody has tried this already and can confirm either way.

It's a good idea to solidify the CGEM as well as the pier extension... But at the end of it, all that extra weight most likely exceeds the DX weight, so there goes the mentioned weight portability of the CGEM kit.

Great stuff overall...
