I was going through my subs of M51 from Monday night to get rid of any with planes, satellites etc when I came across this one. Anyway I decided to keep this one as I quite like the look of it and what are the chances of it going straight through the centre of the galaxy?!

Longitute and latitude settings

Hello there, the SE mount remembers your site (long , lat) so unlike the date / time you do not have to input it each time you use it. However, you can change the long / lat at any time by pressing the menu button on the hand control and selecting the appropriate option. I cant remember what all the options are but I think the one you want is called customise site. -
No idea about the pitch on the SCT thread but you're spot on with the 100ed thread being M54
