Set up time for GOTO

There has been a lot of discussion over the years over the time taken to set up GOTO against star hopping.

I've been meaning for awhile to time my set up. Tonight I remembered to take note. From starting to take my scope out, including separating mount and OTA, re-assembling, adjusting shroud, updating handset with date/time, using two star align and going to first target I timed at 17 minutes. This seems more than reasonable, admittedly my kit doesn't need to be polar aligned.

I agree 17 minutes is a good time.. generally i'm looking at about that time too...

Yep, probably about the same for me too, sometimes a little quicker, sometimes a little longer if the first alignment fails for some reason.
