This is the best astro thing I have seen for a very long time.... This is awesome... Goes to show you that the universe is not static but in a very relatively short time it is moving, changing....its breathing....living...

I had the same reaction and feeling when I saw it. It simply shows the majestic wonder of the universe.

And just think if you were lucky enough to record the initial phases of the supernova with a Tak, EQ6 and a CMOS in 1054 AD !!!!....

It would be beautiful. If scientists are right about Betelgeuse exploding in the next 100 years, then we would be able to capture it from the beginning!

When you look at the video you can tell there would be more moving detail to see with 4/5 shots per year, too!
