Messier 15 with 550D

With the moon ~95% illuminated i decided i would give this cluster a go as it appeared rather large and bright.

I managed to capture only 26x 120 sec exposures at ISO800, and so especially the background had to undergo rather strong noise reduction, but i think it turned out quite good still.

Captured with the Canon 550D and Explorer 200. Stacked in DSS and processed in PS. Flats applied.
Total exposure: 52 minutes.

The core still got a bit burned out, but i will try to get a higher resolution image of the core later and blend in.
