NLC? from the Beautiful Dordogne

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking this is a noctilucent cloud, captured from our campsite in The Dordogne on 13th August.  The area had amazing night time skies, though the trees in the campsite did hinder wide open shots, but the upside to that is they made for interesting composition for both daytime and some Milky Way shots (uploaded elsewhere on here).  Captured in jpeg, very little processing done, I particularly love the rainbow effect to the right of the cloud.
