Moonlite focuser screws

Hello,

Anyone know what the dimensions are for the three thumb screws that press on the compression ring on the Moonlite. I am pretty sure they are imperial as the metric ones I have don't fit. Think the screw pitch is wrong.

Just tried mine and 5 mm is too big so must be some american 1/4"fine thread , equates to 4.72 mm.

They are #10-32 thumbscrews in the drawtube and the adapter

The flange uses 1/4-20 nylon tipped screws

I am not even sure what that means, let alone where to find them in the UK ..... can anyone help ?

The #10-32 will be under 'unified fine'

The 1/4-20 is quarter inch with 20 threads per inch

1/4-20 is good old BSW as used in cameras and tripods. Don't know where you would get nylon tipped versions.  I would make my own, Nylon or acetal tipped brass as I have that size taps and dies.

#10-32 is UNF.

I guess that if you need replacements then Moonlight would supply.
