June 3rd Equinox 80mm ASI224MC Jupiter- various processing

Hello, 

I have processed my latest Jupiter run on the 3rd- quick and dirty image capture session and practising with multiple software programs.

RS6 standard run- bottom 3 sliders and a bit of noise reduction

 

 

FITSWORK for deconvultion

 RS6 with heavy wavelets (4 or more sliders with noise reduction)

 

A bit lighter wavelets (4 sliders but backed off amount and lower noise reduction values)

 

 

Astral image 4.0 trial with deconvolution

 

15% of 22000 frames in either 60 or 90 sec capture time with sharpcap. 

 

Splitting hairs here on which one is better.  Looks better on my laptop than on the desktop, but I think that has to do with screen resolution.

Have you considered adding Barlows or Powermates to the optical train to bump up the image scale. ??

That was with a TV 3x Barlow, sorry. 

 

I haven't tried the 5x powermate yet.

At 500mm focal length I think the X5 Powermate is going to be essential.
