Bright orange meteor tonight?

Did anyone else see this? About 11pm heading from Cygnus to Lactera, pretty short lived but the colour was unlike anything I've seen before, it was around mag-1 and bright orange.

Red yes, Orange no.

I wonder what elements were in it to generate orange?

hmm orange? now what elements burn orange?

i know that adding calcium chloride to a flame can give a bright orange colour although i cant say whether this would be present in meteors

hmm perhaps someone here knows a little more about astrochemistry?

as i remember greg sodium is more of a yellowy colour especially sodium chloride.

wish my memory was better only finished my degree last year
