 That moment when you realise you can see 3 of Jupiters moons in your 30mm finder!

That finder is the best I have ever used. The image is brighter than some 50mm finders I have used and it is sharp. Bit of a minor legend and with good reason.

It really is that good. Best finder I have ever had. I even refocused it just to make sure I wasn't imagining things.

I agree that the Tak 30mm finder is wonderful (and expensive !). I have to confess though that my Tak 30mm finder resides in it's box with it's place taken on my Tak FC-100DL by a lowly Skywatcher 30mm RACI finder. 25 quid, Not so much neck ache and it also shows the moons of Jupiter

The first time I looked through one I laughed out loud when I saw the moon. The contrast and sharpness completely surprised me.

The view through my 30mm finder of 47 Tucanae last night was rather impressive. It does however also say something about how amazing that GC is as well as the quality of the finder.

What location are you viewing from Matt ?  Its a target I must see one day.

I am on Vamizi island which is off the coast of Mozambique near the border with Tanzania. Brought the FC76 with me on a small photo tripod. Had some good observing over the last week. Very cloudy tonight though.
