Guys,

I am trying to upgrade my synscan with the latest firmware edition. However, because I'm an eejit I seem to have misplaced my cable!

Can anyone offer advice on how I can replace? I have been on the internet and there are plenty of RJ 11 cables around but the one the comes with the synscan handset has 2 differing end fittings (both male) that slot into handset and laptop

You can get a Skywatcher cable to do the firmware from FLO.

Remember you'll also need a USB to serial cable too to allow connection to the PC/laptop with the above cable if you don't have an RS232 port on the PC/laptop, which can also be gotten from FLO too as well.
