Phono leads

When using phono leads for dew heater supply, can (or can't you?) use the centre core for the positive and the copper shield for the negative? Seeing as they won't be supplying a large amount of current just wondered if it was ok to do?

So, in theory, so long as they are not powerful heaters, for a pair of red and black phonos, I could run 2 heaters?

yep, I run pairs of phono sockets off led dimmer modules, with no problems

Lovely jubbly, that's just what I'm doing, using the LED PWM dimmers. cheers Dr
