Not quite deep sky, more of a shallow sky, but you gotta get what you can get .

My backyard, straight out of camera, 60D, 40mm f2.8 @ f4.

Edited to add- I was about to ask what the diagonal streak was near the top left of the image. The streak then resolved itself into a cat hair on my monitor :facepalm:

The cloud nebula has become my most viewed object this winter. Never fails to impress with its sheer size covering the entire sky and I'm quite certain it's increasing in brightness year by year in the orange part of the spectrum, particularly towards the horizon near local towns. A coincidence I'm sure.

Makes me wonder why I took up AP when being a Nepholologist was the logical choice!
