Sketch 1/1/2017 Mars Neptune conjunction

Managed a sketch of this scarce event tonight and have reversed the colours and added some colour to the planetary disks. Really superb to see this as I thought I was going to miss my chance. Hope you got a chance too.

Nicely done Shane, been teeing down here but tomorrow looks hopeful to try and image them plus Moon and Venus.

good luck buddy. I think they are still plenty close tomorrow too. should be a tighter grouping overall tomorrow?

No, further apart tomorrow unfortunately. Raining here tonight

bummer. hope you get some joy. I think I meant the moon, venus and mars might be closer as a group as you say, Mars and Neptune, unfortunately now splitting.
