Vixen Super Polaris

I am looking for a mount to use as a grab and go for my ED80 but also one that will allow deep sky imaging at a later date. This looks pretty cheap even if the motors are us. Any thoughts?

Cracking mount in it's class, I emailed the guy about it and he didn't get back to me. At that price it's almost certainly sold....

I was the 9th person to view that Ad and it had gone by then!!! It's worth at least double of what he's asking....

The daft thing is it seems he initially offered it with a Vixen 102 refractor for £290 and obviously wasn't able to sell the combination.

I emailed that guy too and had no response. Such a bargain for such a good mount. I agree with Gaz, the signs don't look good, almost certainly sold.

Ive played with both Tom the SP is deff better IMHO than the GP well from the two mounts i played with. The SP was so much smoother than the Gp :shock:.

Supposed to be is the word Gaz i would be most upset if i had a SP then spent money upgrading or even swapping it for a GP :shock:.

Your not going to believe this but the guy Emailed me late last night to check I was still interested, I said yes and he's just got back to me and I've got the mount!! Very unexpected!

Theres going to have to be a major clear out. I'll test the Vixen to make sure it's OK and the sell the CG5. If the Vixen lives up to it's reputation and I can sell the CG5 for what the Vixen cost me than it'll be worth all the bother.
