I finally managed to watch this today after several previous attempts that were aborted due to unplanned distractions. A nice round up of an eventful year.

I just wish they would give Pete Lawrence more screen time in the future though. He presents his areas really well, always a highlight.

I too wish that they would present the show as back garden astronomers, as Pete Lawrence does.

There was a Channel 4 series many years ago that was a really amateur Astronomy orientated show. To me The Sky at Night has drifted from being a show about amateur Astronomy and star gazing.
