Managed to get 7hrs 50mins worth of subs on this last night. Most of it while asleep. Woke up at 6 this morning like a child at Christmas impetuously unwrapping what had been left for me overnight. Really happy with the result despite the obvious flaws in my processing.

Sw 80ed with .85 ff giving 510mm f/6.4

235 * 120 second exposures at gain 300 offset 15 cooled to -30

70 * flats

70 * darks

Excellent results.  A target I have yet to get anywhere close to a good image with!  I like the amount of contrast you have generated think that will hold up really well in the final colour image. Paddy

Cheers Paddy. Do you think it might be a touch noisy as i stretched quite hard to get the detail? I applied very little noise reduction.

Possibly yes but there data is OK just a case of finding the happy medium now
