1ST LIGHT ATIK 383L

Hi everyone,

Loving the clear skies, even though its so cold. 

I managed to get out tonight with my newly acquired 383L and took 15 x 300 light and some bias frames just to try it out. Some strange reflections on the pic but I've only really carried out a stretch on the image as I'lll try to add some more frames before processing it properly. 

All C & C greatly accepted.

That's looking very promising, since NGC2023 is visible I'm guessing this is luminance which would explain the reflections and huge Alnitak (which is likely the cause of the reflections).

a nice HA filter wll make all the difference and you`ll get better detail

Lovely shot. Alnitac is a pain, but can be controlled in post-processing. As said, try Ha and you'll be gobsmacked.
