Use a single Master Dark in DSS

Is it possible to use a single Master Dark in DSS ?

When I try I get incompatible images error message.

It does create its own master dark if I use a series of darks but wont accept a single master.

It should accept a single master. Are you saying you can stack with individual lights, darks etc but when you then try to stack using the master it has created you get the error?

Yes it will use the Master files, saves time during stacking. Mine are saved as TIF files and I just need to drag them across to DSS.

They are my own Master Darks created separately from lots of Darks stacked using Pixinsight.

Is that the problem ?  I so where does DSS store its Master Darks?

Thats what I was trying to do, I created my Master Dark using Pixinsight and saved it as a Tif.   Can you do it in DSS?

DSS automatically creates a master dark in the same folder as the dark subs the first time it stacks them, it also creates master flats and bias in the same way.
