What man-made things on Earth are visible to someone on the moon

The above question was asked on TV recently. And the answer was given as 'nothing'.

Of course there is one man made thing on the surface of the Earth easily visible from the moon. Light pollution on the night side.

Ive heard that question asked before on a quiz show and the answer that was offered then as being correct was Staten island new york its the largest landfill site on the planet wouldn't it be ironic if it were true the only human endeavour visible from space a rubbish dump mind you perhaps they could fill it with all that astro junk whizzing endlessly around our little blue marble

But that was an old programme made before Pluto was a Plutoid, which was a bit hazy with a couple of other astro points at the expense of getting laughs and moving the programme along. (It was a 2003 one - almost last century!)l
