Just moved to S Wales

I've just moved to South Wales (halfway between Chepstow and Tintern, just above St. Arvans) and looking to scout out the astronomical landscape. Can anyone recommend any clubs or social groups in the area?

We have meetings at Blaenavon on a regular bases during the dark months.

I know that the is an Astro Society in Monmouth. I met someone from St Bravels a few years ago (not too far from you) who was getting some observing sessions going up there, you might try digging around on the web to see if it's still going on. 

Other than that, the nearest one to you for sure is Usk Astro Soc which meet regularly and have observing sessions. http://www.uskastronomicalsociety.org.uk/
