First attempt at this galaxy. Approx 4 hrs of L and 2 of RGB. Work in progress as it definitley needs more data and i may try and add some HA (i sound like I know what I'm talking about!!! :)). Quite pleased with it though for a 1st go. All comments welcome.

A very good result, and excellent for a first effort at this target. You have nicely defined structure in the outer spiral arms which so often seem to get chopped off during processing to leave an oval galaxy! Perhaps could withstand being brightened up a tad, but that could be my monitor

Yes - good image, first attempt or not.  I agree it could be brighter.  It would also be interesting to see what it would look like with less green.  Do you have SCNR or HLVG?

Good first attempt - solid start to be pleased with. WOrk on the brightness as suggested as next step and it will reveal more.

Thanks everyone. I forgot about HLVG so i'll run that through later and see what happens. With regard to the brightness, should I just adjust the brightness slider?

Just stretch the image a little more (using whichever method you have been using).
