The Moon with £10 Charity Shop Lens

Here's a shot of the Moon from the 1th, taken with an old Prinzgalaxy 400mm f6.3 M42 lens I picked up in a charity shop.

Taken with my Canon 700D (18MP), it's a stack of the best 30 frames (from 110). Shot at f8, I bumped the ISO up to 800 so that I could reduce the exposure time to 1/400th second and (hopefully) reduce atmospheric blurring.

A good purchase I think.

Truly brilliant on a budget purchase. I still regret selling my mint in box Tamron adaptall 70-300mm I purchased in the 70s to on my Minolta X700!
