NB + LP filters

 Been having a play with my new mount taking a few 1200 sec HA subs and just realized I've left the IDAS LP filter on the camera.

Will this degrade the HA images, should I scrap them or will they be usable, will they combine with ones taken without the LP filter ?

Hi Dave,

I use my IDAS LP filter in front of my filterwheel. No issues.

My IDAS stays in place in front of all filters - Ha , OII, Lum & RGB. Doesn't make any difference to narrowband subs, I just leave it in to preserve orientation and flats (& I'm lazy), no need to throw those subs away.

Thanks Steve / John, I've actually taken it out now and just taking one 1200sec HA  sub to see if I can see any difference then I'll put it back.
