September 4th - H Alpha - Another snatched opportunity

Mmm, no big clear patches here - but I did manage some brief views in HA between 11.15 and 11.40, and was rained on for my trouble.  Good fun though!  There were about eight prominences  along the W limb, but nothing that looked significant through the cloud.  There is a lot of surface activity over a large area surrounding AR2585.

Single frame with Lint 60 DS and Olympus E-M10 at 11.16 am on 1/40 sec, 500 asa, some cloud but it was the best I could get.

Nice disk given the conditions. We actually had quite good seeing here late in the afternoon.
