Another first!

Well a first for having seen it intentionally anyway I've only been interested in stargazing for a few months so I wasnt able to see this when I first started. But I was up into the early hours of the morning this morning and decided to have a wee look outside with the binos and managed to just see M45! The Pleiades! I didnt think I would get to see them until later on this year but there we go lol.

Also managed to see Andromeda (just) but I need to get myself some bigger binos, only got 10x25's just now

Nevertheless I was happy with the results

You must have been up very early or stayed up very late to see M45!!!!! You`ve seen 2 of the best bino objects in the sky IMHO :hello1:

Haha well M45 was seen somewhere between 2am and 3am just appearing over the trees to the east (roughly). Was a great feeling having seen it through the binos for the first time

Well done Jimbob. M45 is great in Binos. The skies here weren't good enough for a decent look at Andromeda last winter with the bins.

M45 is a cracking sight

When you can see them on a cold crisp winter night it will be very memorable
