gday just a quick question i am thinking of upgrading my ota 925 edge hd to a bresser messier 152L f 7.8 would this be better suited for astrophotography .this would be mounted on a celestron cgem mount i allready have  starsense ,guide scope skywatcher st80 and mono prostar camera my main camera would be a canon 700d at this time .any feedback woud be great .clearskies

It would be better suited but still not ideal. I would consider a smaller refractor  for AP with a faster f ratio especially with a celestron mount .

The Bresser 152 is also a beast of a scope in weight...you'd need to make sure the mount would take it.

What do you fancy imaging?  I am assuming DSOs, in which case, take a look at a field of view calculator and see what scope would fit in the kinds of targets you want with your camera. As a DSLR user, I would suggest wider fields and faster scopes as a starting point.

Personally I'd look at an 80mm skywatcher Equinox . Fast good quality  optics, great field of view, nice and light ! 

If you bought a 150mm refractor it would quite possibly push your mount weight wise but your tracking would probably not be good enough at long focal length either .
