August 14th - White Light

At last, a view in white light, thin strips of clearish bits near the horizon.  Managed a few frames through the murk.  The one below, (believe it or not!) was the best.  Taken with Equinox 80, Lunt H Wedge, Olympus E-M10, 100 asa, 1/3200 taken at 6.55 pm.  The close-up is just a crop of the full disk - didn't have time to use the barlow.

great shots Paul, my best chance will be tomorrow by the forcast, it says clear blue skys from 8am onwards, so ill get a umbrella and dress for snow. thanks charl.

Thank you charl, your comments at the end made me laugh.  Let's hope you don't need your winter wardrobe tomorrow.

Nice white light discs and close ups, I couldn't resist a quick myself when I got home from not so sunny Lowestoft!
