Just a heads up - Rupes Recta is worth a look tonight It's on the terminator casting a real long shadow, and craters Birt with Birt A nestled on its flank are peaking up into the sunlight from the black shadow... pretty cool!!

Sadly not able to observe tonight due to been away for work, and even if I could it's cloudy too alas!

It was clear here up until midnight but, alas, the Moon had dipped behind our house by the time I was observing so I missed out on it.

I love viewing the Rupes Recta area of the lunar surface though

I'll catch it next time around !
