slewing to objects skywatcher synscan handsets

anyone else ever encounted this problem?.My handset will slew to the likes of the messier objects no problem,but when it comes to the caldwell or ngc objects the handset states no object found.anyone else ever had this problem if it is a problem?.andy.

I haven't tried caldwell, but ngc works fine for me.

thanks for the reply john,remember though that the double cluster is listed as c14.i just wonder if the handset needs upgraded again?.what do you think.andy.

M, NGC and IC objects all work for me.

You could always try updating your handset. What's the worst that could happen?
