Saturn A-Focal 8th June 2016

While I couldn't get correct capture settings with the Xbox 360 webcam last night, I decided to do some A-focal with my FujiFilm A170 compact digital camera 10mp hand held up to the 17mm Celestron Halloween Plossl EP on the Skywatcher Pro 150.

I snapped about 90 shots within the hour, only 4 shots semi-worthy of stacking. Put through PIPP, stacked in AS!2, slight wavelets in RS6 and finished in PDN.

A good test which I may look further in to.

Agreed Tim. It's an older budget compact digital camera that seems to do well with A-focal, performs better than my newer Cybershot.

Forgot to mention in my first post... 100 ISO, -1 exposure using 2.4x optical zoom.
